STOCK 1ST GEAR
* Counter 1st (17T) OEM 35760-73
* late only (1973-1985). To fit 1986 and later requires early countershaft # AP-259010
* Andrews 4 speed Sportster gears are made from high nickel alloy steel which is heat treated and shot peened for maximum durability. Shot peening greatly improves the wear resistance of drive edges and slots. All Sportster gearboxes run better with Andrews gears.
